This rug was unique in that it was made out of cowhide leather. I love that it is different! Appears well sewn together, lays nice and flat and I’ve had many compliments on it. It is rather thin but that is what one would expect from leather. I bought a pad too. We shall see over time if the stitching remains in tact.

I have tried many things to flatten the rug but it did not work. It is actually a tripping hazard and I will probably have to move it to a very low traffic area.

Soft coloring and pretty. Very thin and stiff. Definitely needs a rug pad. We’ll see how it wears and what happens when it needs cleaned….
