Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this runner has a soft, slightly ribbed beige background punctuated by a grid of raised square medallions and carved motifs. The pattern alternates simple framed squares in brown and light brown with more detailed ivory and light-brown quatrefoils and scrolling botanical blocks, creating a subtle rhythm down the length of the piece. Short fringes at each end provide a finished touch while the low-to-medium pile and carved relief give the design gentle dimension you can both see and feel.
