Why we love Des Moines
Des Moines sits where the Des Moines River and the Raccoon River meet, and you can feel that gentle, open-hearted Iowa spirit in every corner of the metro. Walk the trails along the rivers, stroll the grounds around the golden-domed Iowa State Capitol, and watch the big prairie sky turn from pale morning gold to deep evening rose. From Ankeny and Altoona to Adel and Bevington, this is a place of porches, gardens, farm-fresh tables and neighbors who love a good gathering.
That warmth deserves to be carried indoors. Here, four true seasons ask a lot of a home: snowy winters that call for something soft underfoot, and bright summers that invite airy, open rooms. Shoppers around Des Moines are choosing gray, blue and multi-color rugs, in modern, vintage and traditional styles, and Rugs.com makes it easy to find the one that feels like yours. Come explore what the heart of Iowa loves.

Soft grays and river blues echo Iowa's wide, changing skies. A rug in those tones brings that calm, open feeling into any living room or bedroom.
Four Seasons at Home
Snowy winters and sunny summers mean rooms that shift with the weather. A cozy rug underfoot makes a winter evening warmer and grounds a bright summer room.
Classic Midwest Houses
Porches, bungalows and welcoming family homes suit both vintage and modern rugs. A well-chosen rectangle can tie a dining room or hallway together beautifully.
