Hand-knotted from 100% wool in Iran, this Tabriz Mahi runner rug displays a traditional Persian design with intricate craftsmanship. A deep black field serves as the backdrop for three aligned central medallions and an allover fish, or mahi, motif. Detailed floral accents in brown, green, cream, soft pink, and muted blue enrich the field, while a structured multi-layered border frames the composition. Finished with delicate fringed ends, the medium wool pile provides a dense, soft feel underfoot with natural durability.
