Product Description
A graphic checkerboard pattern sits on a deep black ground, with alternating ivory blocks arranged in slightly offset rows that create a lively, rhythmic motion across the field. Thin red lines run horizontally between the rows, punctuating the design and adding a subtle warmth to the monochrome scheme. Hand woven from 100% wool in a flatweave kilim construction, the surface feels firmly textured and pleasantly taut underfoot, with the clear weave structure creating a tactile, low-profile finish.
This rug works well as an anchor in modern and transitional interiors — place it beneath a low sofa in a living room to bring pattern and contrast to neutral furnishings, or use it in an entry or hallway where the graphic motif can establish strong visual interest. It also pairs nicely with mid-century pieces, leather and metal accents, or a minimalist Scandinavian palette, offering a structured, contemporary counterpoint to softer textiles and wood finishes.
