Product Description

Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug has a low-profile, tactile surface that invites you to run your hand across its fine, tightly packed pile. The design is a restrained, grid-like pattern of small rectangular motifs and subtle horizontal striations set against a rich black field. Close up, the black background is enlivened by layered flecks of blue, light blue, gray, beige, brown and occasional red threads, creating depth and a soft, lived-in patina without strong contrast.

This piece works well where you want grounding and texture: place it under a seating group to anchor a contemporary living room, layer it in a minimalist bedroom to add visual warmth, or use it in a home office to introduce quiet pattern without overwhelming the space. It pairs particularly well with leather or mid-century wood furniture, cool-toned upholstery in blues or grays, and brass or matte black metal accents for a balanced, modern look.
