The piece
Bidjar
This 8x11 rectangular rug from the Bidjar Collection showcases traditional Persian artistry. Hand made from 100% wool in Iran, it features an intricate all-over Herati pattern across a rich black field, framed by deep red hexagonal framing and an ivory-cream central diamond medallion. Accent hues of purple, brown, green, blue, and orange add depth throughout the dense floral motifs and ornate borders. Completed with neat fringe along the ends, the medium-pile wool construction provides a durable, substantial feel underfoot.
