Kashan
A classic Persian-inspired medallion fills a field of rich blue, surrounded by an ornate vine-and-floral border in darker blue tones. Intricate floral motifs and scrolling arabesques are rendered in cream, brown, red, green and touches of pink, creating a layered, antique look with clear pattern definition. Hand made of 100% wool, the pile has a pleasing, slightly dense hand and a soft surface underfoot; the low-to-medium nap highlights the motif edges and gives the colors a subtle depth when you run your fingers across it.
