Hand-knotted in 100% wool, this rug has a dense, tactile pile with a softly uneven, handwoven surface you can feel underfoot. The background is a blue brown field shot through with striated threads of brown, light brown, gray and ivory that create a lived-in, heathered look. A simple diamond lattice in a clear blue thread crosses the field, while a narrow beige border and short fringed ends frame the piece for a finished, casual appearance.
