Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug has a low-to-medium pile with a tactile, slightly nubby feel from the natural wool fibers and the hand-knotting process. The background is a rich blue-brown ground shot through with subtle tonal variation and flecks of beige, ivory and light brown. A tonal diamond lattice crosses the field, its lines gently raised to give definition without dominating the surface, and short fringed ends frame the piece for a finished look.
