I needed a simplistic runner that wasn’t boring and this one fit the bill perfectly. I use it as a door mat for my sliding glass doors. I have three large dogs who come and go through that door and the rug catches the dirt they inevitable bring in with them but it vacuums up really well. It is soft—not like a padded shag carpet but as the jute and wool rug it is. Meaning soft to walk on with bare feet but I wouldn’t want to sleep on it. And the price was great as I bought it on sale. Highly recommend!

Reviewing a different size or color: 6 Ft Runner · Blush PinkThe runner is really beautiful. It's a little thicker than I was hoping and scrapes under the door. The biggest issue is that it has some hard and sharp woody bits in it that are quite painful to step on in bare feet. I know this is a natural plant-based fiber, but I wasn't expecting a carpet made with bits of wood.
