Chindi Trellis is a collection of hand-woven rugs with a handmade, rag-woven texture. Rows of triangles, stepped diamonds, stripes and tight trellis patterns are built up one strand at a time, so every rug has the small irregularities of something made by hand. Some are full of joyful, confetti-bright color and others keep to an earthy, natural palette.

The six designs mix geometric, abstract and striped patterns. Close up you see a nubby, flat-woven surface with a 0.4 inch pile, and some pieces are finished with loose, casual fringe at the ends.
