Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug presents a classic, Ziegler-inspired floral field set against a cream ground. Finely rendered medallions, palmettes and scrolling vines appear in beige, tan and gold with touches of olive, green, pink and red that add measured warmth. A warm red border frames the design, its stylized rosettes and foliage picked out in soft gold and olive to create a balanced, traditional composition.
The hand-spun wool gives the surface a soft, slightly variegated nap that feels pleasant underfoot and highlights the subtle color shifts in the weave. Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
