The piece
Tabriz
A traditional Persian-style runner with a central floral medallion and scrolling vine motifs set against a cream background. The design pairs a warm pink border with detailed accents in brown, olive, blue and touches of purple, creating a balanced, softly colored composition. Hand made from wool and silk, the surface offers a comforting woolly cushion underfoot while silk highlights pick out the floral motifs with a subtle, low-sheen luster that you can both see and feel when you run your hand across the pile.

This runner works well in narrow circulation spaces where pattern can make a strong, elegant statement — think a long hallway or an entry that welcomes with a gentle palette. It also complements a bedroom alongside the bed or layered in front of a sofa to soften a seating area; pair it with neutral upholstery and warm wood tones for a classic, layered look, or place it in a traditionally furnished room to reinforce an antique-inspired aesthetic.
