Product Description

Hand-braided from 100% jute, this oval rug presents a layered, handcrafted look with concentric braided coils at the center and open-lace braid bands that lead into a scalloped border of coiled rosettes. The overall color is gray, and the braided construction gives small variations in tone and texture that read as natural and organic. The surface is low and textured, with the tactile, slightly coarse feel typical of jute that adds visual depth and an earthy, grounded presence underfoot.

This piece works well in casual, lived-in spaces — place it in an entryway or hallway, in front of a kitchen sink, or beneath a small bistro table to add character without overwhelming the room. It complements coastal, farmhouse, rustic, or modern-minimal interiors and layers nicely over a larger flatweave when you want to introduce shape and texture.
