Well made complex but subtle design

We purchased this runner as a kitchen work mat (with a heavy non slip liner underneath). As such it is bound to get dirty and wet. Synthetic fiber / outdoor spec well suited. Didn't want to overpower our beige tile floor or compete with the oriental rug on the other side of the room so lighter shades of this carpet works well. Close up the complex weave is attractive and interesting while from a distance in blends in nicely with the tones of our open floor plan kitchen / living room. Has the appearance of natural fibers. Only wish there was a 2x3 version for another corner of the kitchen. (The similar 2x3 with dark brown borders in contrast was too bold and busy for our design need though of compsrable quality).
