The piece
Tabriz Mahi
Hand-knotted in wool with silk highlights, this runner presents a dense, low pile that feels smooth underfoot with a subtle, satiny sheen where the silk catches the light. The surface is finely worked, revealing a repeating lattice of floral rosettes and scrolling vines set against a green background. An ornate multi-tiered border frames the field, and the finished ends show short ivory fringe for a traditional touch.

The palette pairs the green ground with warm rust and terracotta motifs, soft ivory outlines and small navy and blue accents, creating a composed, classic look that complements dark wood floors or painted woodwork. Place this runner in a formal hallway or entry where its pattern can lead the eye through the space, use it alongside a dining console or in a gallery-style corridor, or layer it in a traditional kitchen to add pattern and depth. It works well with vintage and period furniture as well as transitional interiors that balance traditional pattern with contemporary furnishings.
