The answer is easier than you might think. Start by measuring the area where you want your rug. This measurement will give you a rough idea of the size you need. To determine the right size, pull out the dining chairs so they are the same distance from the table as if someone were about to sit down. Synthetic fibers are very smooth, meaning they show dirt more readily and may not hold dye as well, leading to fading. Regular maintenance can help mitigate these issues.

Quickly contain spills or accidents by blotting up excess moisture with a dry cloth or paper towel.
