Product Description

Handmade of cowhide and leather, this rug presents a neatly arranged checkerboard of small stitched squares. The background color is Light Brown, balanced by accents of Beige, Brown, Ivory and Tan that create a warm, natural palette. Running your hand across the surface you’ll notice the low hair-on-hide pile and subtle sheen of each patch; the tight stitching between squares gives the piece a structured, mosaic-like texture with slight tonal variations that underscore the material’s authenticity.

The clean geometry and warm neutrals work well in a range of interiors — place it under a coffee table to anchor a living room, layer it on hardwood in a modern farmhouse setting, or use it in an entry or home office to add tactile interest. It pairs particularly well with leather seating, wood furniture, and neutral textiles, and can both soften minimalist spaces and complement richer, rustic schemes.
