Product Description

Set on a multi background, this hand-made chenille and jute rug carries a lively, painterly pattern of flowing swirls and drip-like forms. Warm hues—beige, brown, burgundy, red, orange, yellow and pink—are layered with cooler accents of blue, green, violet and gray for depth and movement. The design mixes broader color fields with small teardrop and linear elements, creating an organic, artful effect that reads like a weathered abstract painting.

The combination of soft chenille yarns and natural jute gives a pleasing tactile contrast: chenille provides a gentle, velvety touch while jute contributes a slubby, earthy texture and low-profile structure. Hand-made construction produces subtle irregularities that add character and visual interest. This rug works well in a cozy seating area or reading nook, layered under a coffee table to anchor mixed-material furniture, or placed at the foot of a bed to introduce color and warmth. It complements warm woods, rattan and leather as well as eclectic or transitional interiors that welcome pattern and texture.
