Product Description

Hand made of cowhide and leather, this rug presents a tightly stitched harlequin of elongated diamond patches in a multi-background palette. Rich browns, tan and light brown panels alternate with ivory, beige and black sections, many showing natural speckling and tonal variation unique to each hide. The hair-on-hide surface is soft to the touch with a low, tactile pile and a slight natural sheen; well-defined seams and leather backing give the piece an artisanal, tailored feel.

Use this rug to ground a seating area or add layered texture in an entry or study. It pairs naturally with warm wood furniture and leather sofas, and adds visual interest against neutral upholstery or industrial metal accents. The pattern and tones work equally well in modern farmhouse, rustic, southwestern or eclectic interiors—place it beneath a coffee table to define the conversation area, alongside a reading chair to warm a corner, or layered over a larger neutral rug for added depth.
