Cowhide Stocks
Handmade from cowhide and leather, this rug uses small square patches to form a pixel-like mosaic that frames a soft, light field. The multi background resolves into an ivory and beige center bordered by dense squares in black, brown, tan and gray. Running your hand across the surface you feel the contrast between the hair-on-hide patches and the smoother leather joins — a low natural sheen and subtle nap give the piece a layered, tactile quality while the stitched patchwork adds visual texture.
