The piece
Luna
Hand-tufted from wool and cotton, this square rug centers a deep navy blue field with a wreath of stylized botanical motifs in brown, blue, and green. The motif forms a circular pattern that brings movement to the composition while leaving a generous navy ground for visual balance. Running your hand across the surface reveals a soft, slightly springy wool pile with the hand-tufted motifs sitting just a touch higher, creating subtle depth and shadow that accentuate the layered colors.

This rug works well anchoring a living room seating group, where the navy base grounds lighter upholstery and the brown and green accents tie into wood and leather finishes. It also suits a home office or den for a layered, contemplative look, or under a square dining table where the circular motif adds interest beneath the table. Pair with warm woods, muted blues, and brass or matte black hardware to complement the rug’s palette and texture.
