Product Description
Hand made of 100% wool, this runner presents a traditional Persian-inspired layout with three large hexagonal medallions set against a warm red field. Each medallion is filled with an intricate repeat of floral and geometric motifs in cream and deep brown, edged with fine black outlines and subtle navy and rust highlights. A narrow, all-over border of vines and rosettes frames the composition, giving the piece a balanced, antique-inspired appearance that reads as refined without feeling ornate.
The wool pile has a dense, tightly packed feel that reveals crisp pattern definition when you run your hand across it, with a soft, natural texture and gentle woolen sheen. Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 2-3 feet on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
