Product Description
A deep red field sets the stage for a traditional floral layout of palmettes, scrolling vines and small medallion motifs in warm ivory and soft gold. A lighter, patterned border frames the center and gives the runner a finished, classic look. Hand-knotted from wool, the surface is tactile and lightly plush, with natural tonal variations from the weaving that add depth and a subtle, low sheen to the design.
Made for narrow spaces, this runner works well in entryways, hallways or alongside a bed to bring color and pattern into traffic areas. It pairs naturally with warm wood floors, leather or upholstered seating and brass or aged-metal accents, and can anchor a console table or kitchen galley while maintaining a traditional or transitional interior palette.

Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 2-3 feet on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
Outdoor
Measure your patio or deck area and choose a rug that fits within the furniture grouping, leaving a few inches of clearance on all sides.
- Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing.
- Apply a carpet cleaner or mild detergent solution for stains.
- Use a soft brush to work the cleaner into the fibers gently.
- Allow the rug to air dry completely.
Consider the existing colors in your room, including walls, furniture, and decor. A rug can either complement or contrast with these elements.
Lighter colors make a room feel larger and more open, while darker colors add warmth and coziness.
If your room has a lot of patterns, choose a solid or subtly patterned rug. If your room is mostly solid colors, a patterned rug can add visual interest.
