Hand-made from 100% wool, this traditional Persian-style rug centers on a bold medallion set into a rich red field. The surface is patterned with scrolling floral vines, palmettes and tiny boteh motifs that create an all-over rhythm, while deep navy corner spandrels and a multi-tiered navy border frame the composition. Cream and pale blue highlights lift the design, and touches of olive and brown add depth to the color story.
The pile has a dense, low-to-medium feel underfoot with the warm, slightly lustrous texture wool provides; the fringed ends give a finished look.
