Product Description
This Kashan collection rug, measuring 10x13, is a testament to the time-honored artistry of hand-knotting, meticulously crafted from 100% wool. The depth of the red background provides a rich canvas for the intricate medley of floral and geometric motifs that grace this piece. Accentuated by an array of colors including beige, black, blue, brown, green, ivory, navy blue, olive, orange, pink, and yellow, this rug showcases a vibrant yet balanced palette that enriches its elaborate design.
Expertly woven, this rug features low pile spots indicative of its semi-antique age (40-60 years old), which adds to its character and narrative. The artisanship is further emphasized by the signature of a master weaver, underscoring its authenticity and cultural heritage. Completing the traditional aesthetic, this rug has a classic fringe that frames the composition.
Given its traditional design and rich colors, this rug would be a fitting centerpiece in formal living rooms, dining areas, or offices where its character and craftsmanship can be appreciated. Its resilience and timeless appeal would complement interiors featuring traditional wood furnishings, leather accents, and a color scheme that allows the rug's intricate patterns and vivid hues to take center stage.
