A classic field-and-border design on a warm red ground, this hand-knotted rug presents a pattern of large palmettes, scrolling vines and small floral rosettes arranged with balanced symmetry. The ivory-beige border frames the red field and is picked out with accents of cream, peach and salmon, while touches of green and olive appear in the floral detailing.
