Kazak
Hand-knotted of 100% hand-spun wool, this rug presents a classic tribal medallion layout on a warm red field. The central navy medallion and layered angular motifs are picked out in shades of blue, brown and green while a light-ivory border frames repeating geometric ornaments. Running fringe at the short ends and the slight irregularities in yarn thickness give the piece a handmade character and gentle textural variation underfoot.
