A rich red field anchors a classic Persian medallion layout, where a finely detailed cream-and-dark-blue center medallion radiates into scrolling floral vines and boteh motifs. The pattern is tightly woven and highly detailed, with accents in black, brown, olive, grey and pink threaded throughout the design and a deep black border that frames the composition. Fringe on the short ends and the layered borders add a finished, traditional look.
