The piece
Bidjar With Silk
A dense, all-over floral pattern fills the field with repeating palmettes, scrolling vines and small rosette motifs, all set against a rich red background. A broad, ornamented border frames the design and reinforces the rug’s traditional Persian-inspired character. Silk highlights catch the light across the surface, adding subtle depth and definition to the pattern without overwhelming the overall palette.

Handmade of wool with silk, the pile offers a firm, low-profile feel underfoot with a soft, satiny sheen from the silk accents. The tightly knotted construction gives the motifs crisp edges and a pleasing tactile contrast between the slightly more elevated field and the flatter border. Place this rug to anchor a formal seating area, beneath a dining table to complement warm wood tones, or in a study or entry where its rich color and detailed pattern will add warmth and visual interest. It pairs well with neutral upholstery, deep wood furniture and metal or brass accents for a layered, refined interior.
