Hand made of 100% wool, this Afghan-style rug shows a repeating octagonal medallion pattern set on a rich red field. Each octagon is filled with compact geometric motifs in green, brown and orange, with small diamond accents punctuating the spaces between. The wool pile is dense and soft to the touch, with a subtle sheen and a slightly irregular, hand-knotted surface that adds tactile depth underfoot.
