Product Description

Hand-knotted and made from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug presents a traditional medallion layout on a rich red field. The central ivory medallion and surrounding geometric florals are rendered in blue, beige, green and brown, set within a sequence of narrow and wider borders—an inner green guard and an ivory outer band dotted with repeating rosettes and linked motifs. The pattern balances crisp, linear geometry with softer floral motifs, creating a composed, classic look that brings color and structure to a room.

The hand-spun wool gives the surface a dense, low-to-medium pile with a tactile, slightly uneven feel that welcomes bare feet and adds visual depth where the fibers catch the light. Style it under a living room seating group to anchor sofas and chairs, place it beneath a dining table to add warmth to meals, or use it in a study or entry to introduce color and pattern. It pairs particularly well with warm wood tones, leather furnishings, and layered textiles—combine with solid-colored upholstery to let the pattern stand out, or coordinate with blue or green accents to echo the rug’s palette.
