Hand-knotted in Iran from wool, this traditional Persian rug from the Nain Collection showcases a classic medallion motif. A rich crimson red field provides a striking background for intricate floral arabesques and palmettes. Intricate layers of beige, cream, and subtle blue accents fill the central star medallion and the expansive multi-layered border. The thin wool pile provides a smooth, refined surface underfoot, finished with delicate fringe along the edges.
