Handmade in Iran from a fine blend of wool and silk, this rectangular rug from the Tabriz Collection displays classic Persian artistry. A vibrant red field hosts an intricate central medallion surrounded by flowing floral arabesques and palmettes. Rich ivory spandrels and a multi-tiered navy blue and beige border frame the central composition, detailed with accents of cream, brown, dark blue, soft blue, olive, purple, and grey. The medium pile provides a dense, smooth feel underfoot with subtle sheen from the silk fibers, finished with delicate fringe along the ends.
