This rug is incredible! I love the look and quality of vintage rugs but have an elderly pet and a child in the home so that just wasn’t in the cards for us. This rug is the perfect substitute! I’ve been looking for a large rug for the living room but didn’t want to commit to such a big purchase without getting a good look at it first. Ordering this runner seemed like a great way to test it out beforehand. And I’m sold. I plan to purchase the largest size for our new living room in a couple months and use this runner in the adjacent kitchen.It arrived rolled. It had a very faint dye scent at first that dissipated within about 2 hours. The fringe is really cute. I may consider tea-dying the fringe eventually to darken the ivory a bit (We will have dark oak floors in the new house and I don’t love high-contrast fringe). I ordered the less expensive of the two rug pads at checkout and it’s perfect for a runner because it’s thin. For a larger rug in a living space I’d go for the thicker pad. Can’t recommend this highly enough!

Reviewing a different size or color: 10 Ft Runner · RedI bought this several months ago and I only have one complaint that I will get to. First let me say that this rug is absolutely true to the pictures. The colors are vibrant and the overall quality is better than I expected for the price. It's soft (I have the premium pad under it) and laid flat a couple of hours after I unrolled it. The only negative aspect is the smell. After several months a large box of baking soda frequent vacuuming and deodorizer sprays it still gives off a strong chemical smell. It's close to our front door and anyone who walks in makes a comment about it immediately. If it wasn't such a pain to return it I probably would but only because of the smell.

This rug is very good quality and the service is excellent. Unfortunately the shade of red on my computer was misleading & I had to return the rug == beware returns must be made to S. Carolina USA and the cost is huge.

Reviewing a different size or color: 9x12 · RedI love classic rugs but am also very much on a budget so couldn't resist what I saw when accidentally running into this listing on the internet. When it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised with this rug especially for the low low price. It's thick well made and a deep vibrant classic red. There were no loose threads or nap whatsoever - quite a feat for a new rug. White edge fronds are well attached and nothing's missing. I actually put it on the wall behind bed as a headboard but I have no doubt it could handle foot traffic. It's gorgeous! You can bet rugs.com is bookmarked and I'll be looking here first the next time I'm looking for a rug.

I tested out several rugs from different companies over the past few months but this is hands down the most beautiful of them all. If you’re looking for a red rug I would highly recommend this one. The only note I would add is if you have pets the rug really makes debris and hair stand out in it. Otherwise this is the perfect rug.
