I bought this rug about a month ago for the living room area. i chose the ivory/cream color to enhance and brighten up the space and it absolutely worked. The quality of this rug (coupled with the thick pad under) is really high makes it feel and look much more expensive than it was.

I had area rugs that had light colors intermixed with the gray. They became dirty appearing even with frequent shampooing. It isn’t totally plain gray but the design is subtle. It is very soft and feels luxurious without being shaggy. I love it! I bought 3.

It doesn't have that that "slick" feel you get from some rugs that are in the same price range, but this is better quality. The reason for the four stars, I thought it was more of a golden color than yellow. If I brush the nape it is darker, but I'm satisfied. Plus my dog and cat like it.
