Tabriz Mahi
A hand-made wool and silk rug with a classic Persian medallion layout, this piece centers an elongated scalloped medallion within a densely patterned field of tiny floral and boteh motifs. The background is a warm brown, balanced by rust, muted gold, ivory and deep charcoal accents; silk highlights lend a low, refined sheen to the finer details while the wool pile feels soft and substantial underfoot. The multi-band border of repeating rosettes and vinework frames the field and reinforces the rug’s formal symmetry.
