I was looking for a plain gray rug that was low enough my robot vacuum could sweep it and would withstand the traffic of a hallway and I got all of that in this rug! I had area rugs that had light colors intermixed with the gray. They became dirty appearing even with frequent shampooing. This color and texture is so perfect that I ordered the runner and octagon rugs too. Great quality for the price!

The quality of this rug (coupled with the thick pad under) is really high makes it feel and look much more expensive than it was.

It doesn't have that that "slick" feel you get from some rugs that are in the same price range, but this is better quality. The reason for the four stars, I thought it was more of a golden color than yellow. If I brush the nape it is darker, but I'm satisfied. Plus my dog and cat like it.
