My husband and I had been looking for rugs for what seemed like an eternity. I was browsing rugs.com because they allow for returns in the case we didn't like it. When I saw this rug I had an oh my! Moment. It is everything I expected in person. Unique colorful and really makes my living room perfect. The rug is low pile which makes it easy to clean as I have two dogs. I would definitely recommend a rug pad though... Even in the 8x10 size it slides around when the dogs get excited. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

Bought it for a new vaguely-nautical-themed bedroom and it is a great statement piece without overwhelming the space; the fish pattern is unique but not so crazy that it's hard to match with anything. I laid it down a week ago and there are still some waves in it but it has relaxed a lot. One edge was curled up pretty severely but it we rolled it the opposite way for a day and it flattened out (and it was under a heat register so I believe that helped). No weird smells or anything. The light part isn't white but more of a taupe color. Soft pile but you will want a decent pad underneath if you are laying it on a hard floor.
