Product Description
Hand-woven from 100% wool, this rug is built from tightly packed felted wool spheres that form a pebble-like grid across the surface. The texture is tactile and slightly raised underfoot, offering a warm, cushioned feel while the dense hand construction gives the surface a rich, tactile depth. The overall ground is multicolored, with a lively mix of blue, light blue, navy, green, olive, red, pink, yellow, orange and ivory creating a compact, mosaic effect that reads as both playful and refined.
The rug works well in spaces that benefit from a pop of color and surface interest: place it under a neutral sofa to anchor a contemporary living room, layer it in a casual dining area with natural wood furniture for a relaxed, eclectic look, or use it in a bright playroom or nursery to add warmth and pattern. It also complements mid-century and Scandinavian interiors when paired with clean-lined furnishings and simple textiles, and it can act as a lively counterpoint in minimalist or loft-style settings where color and texture are needed to soften the space.
