Great rug even though it’s jute it is soft under your feet! It was an impulsive last minute purchase ( wasn’t even sure where I was going to place it in my new home - still under construction!) but extremely happy with how it ties my master bedroom together. Ordered the mostly black rug When i unrolled was super happy that rug can be reversed!!! I love love love it!! Not sure about the wear/durability. I ordered the thicker rug pad too.

Lays flat. It did shed some it’s jute that was not a surprise. Would recommend it. Cannot comment on durability. But seems to be well made.

The only downside to it is that our kitties are also loving it trying to get their little claws in it to snag it. Fortunately it’s not very visible and now the kitties are wearing nail covers.
