Rug needs Rogaine to keep its fibers

I’ve only had the rug for a few weeks and it’s losing its hair fast ! Nice looking but I feel like it’s going to be bald within 1/2 a year It also creates a mess of carpet fibers all over the hardwood floors. I’m going to sprinkle Rogaine on the carpet to help the cause. Expensive for how poorly made it is

Sheds constantly

I love the look and feel of this rug but after a year we have to get rid of it because it never stopped shedding, can’t be vacuumed, and our infant son keeps easily pulling the fibers out. Disappointed :(

Do not get if you have pets or kids

I really wanted to like this rug but after less than a week it's already rolled up in the closet. Our dog scratched at it and same with the cat I think they were attracted to the smell of wool. The fibers come out in short chunks that can't be tucked back into the rug and in just a couple days we had bare patches and a bag full of small pieces of wool. Even without pets or kids the fibers are too short and I don't think would hold up the rug would just go bare slower. Also it isn't something you can vacuum even if you used the hose attachment because it would pull up the short fibers. So disappointed since I was looking forward to a natural fiber rug but unfortunately I think it's money down the drain.

Awful

This rug began falling apart immediately! It sheds horribly and when I tried to vacuum it to deter the shedding, it completely clogged the DYSON vacuum cleaner.

Returned this rug upon receipt

Zero stars. I was so disappointed in this rug in just about every way, but mostly because it started to fall apart immediately - beyond "shedding" - clumps of the wool were falling out. I wish I had read other reviews prior to purchasing, because clearly others have had similar experiences with this rug. I was really looking forward to what it could have been, but processed the return immediately. I am thankful for the return policy, but that's about it.

5x7 Hand Woven Haka Deluxe Shag Rug

I have had less than 2 weeks and I am very disappointed. The rug sheds terrible. I can tell already it will end up having bald spots. Plus it gets fuzzy as you walk on it. Not at all what I expected for that kind of money. Save your money!

Looks v feel

I really like the way this rug looks. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel as good as it looks. I thought a "shag" tug would feel cushy underfoot, but actually it feels knotty to me.

Love the rug but….

This rug is gorgeous, soft, fun, elegant and goes great in our living room. However, being that it was hand woven, it sheds constantly. Always picking up locks of carpet fuzz from the floor. I’m hoping the rug doesn’t start leaving bald spots throughout it.

Beautiful Rug

This rug is absolutely beautiful and looks fabulous in my living room, however, as other reviewers have mentioned, it sheds A LOT. I have not noticed any “bald” spots at all, but it does lose large clumps of the fibers at a time and that is with us barely walking on it. We do not have pets or kids that pull at the rug. That being said…I love my impossibly impractical rug and hope that when it comes time to clean it I will figure out a way to do that without causing any further loss of the fibers.
